Emotional Intelligence and Performance

“From a culture and people processes perspective, what does a high-performing company mean to you?”

For me, one of the most important parts of any answer to this question is that there’s little point in being a high performing company if your people can’t be happy. It might even be impossible. And, you don’t have to choose between performance and happiness.

Jeff Summers, who is the guest on the podcast linked below, is one of the Managing Directors at Genos International North America. I am so grateful to provide my clients with Genos EI assessments and trainings (I think I might be the only certified practitioner in #Vermont) because of the people behind the product and because of the RoI and incredible track record of success and recognition. Genos was recently recognized as a Top 20 by Training Industry for the 6th year in a row – the best track record of any EI assessment company.

With emotional intelligence and organizational mindfulness you can have both performance and happiness without sacrifice. Like I always say “It’s not a magic pill, but it’s a helluva multi-vitamin!”
